Two people, who couldn’t have less in common, are sent to an island to help the local village revitalize itself, but when a current sweeps the boys to the opposite side of the island, it's a race against the clock for them to get back to the village. Throughout their journey home, they find themselves sparking a connection so strong that no storm could separate it.
When 25-year-old Noah Ellison accepts a teaching position in Taveuni, Fiji, he must travel across the ocean and overcome his anxiety as he learns what it means to be a teacher. He quickly learns it's more than he bargains for when he has trouble building schedules, putting together his classroom, and relating to the children of the village. On his journey to the island, he meets Marcus, a stubborn, ruggedly handsome man who is sent to the village on a mission trip.
Upon first interactions, Noah couldn’t stand Marcus and his cocky attitude. Marcus is everything that Noah isn’t: athletic, stylish, and annoyingly charming. As the two are forced to share a life together, conflict arises when the two realize the tropical island may not be big enough for the both of them. But when the two of them become stranded on the other side of the island in a flash storm, they must learn to work together to return to the village before it's too late.
